Hanna Kakouris flexing in mirror

Hey There!

Hi, I'm Hanna Kakouris. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. My fitness journey highlights the importance of balance, achievable goals, and personal motivation in fitness pursuits. I'm also passionate about nutrition — from macro-focused recipes to sustainable eating habits, I believe what we eat should support both health and happiness. With my programs, I aim to share the insights I've learned over the years, offering diverse approaches and tools to aid individuals on their unique wellness paths!

My Story

My commitment to self-improvement has led me to explore various fitness methods, from triathlons to weightlifting, shaping my understanding of training habits and nutrition. With this, I want to share the lessons I've learned along the way. My goal is to simplify the path to success for everyone, sharing tools and insights that aided me – so you don't have to make the same mistakes I did!

Growing up in a family passionate about fitness and whole foods, I gained exposure to both of the crucial sides of wellness. After extracurricular sports in school, I rekindled my interest in fitness during college, discovering a newfound passion for anything cardiovascular. The pandemic offered me time to explore more strenuous workouts and delve deeper into the nutrition side - though this extreme phase taught me the importance of balance in fitness and diet.

My fitness journey continued after college, leading me through cycling, running, and triathlons. I faced the consequences of too much cardio and low-calorie dieting, and it taught me the importance of setting realistic goals and truly listening to my body. Embracing balance, I transitioned to resistance training — gaining insight through personal trial and error, working part-time at a gym in Dallas, and digging into my own research.

I earned my NASM CPT certification in 2024 to better support others in finding their own sustainable paths. I followed it up by getting my NASM Nutrition Certification. I moved back to St. Louis at the end of 2024, where I began training clients in person, including working with cycling athletes from South Side Cyclery, combining my love for strength training and endurance sports.

My journey highlights that balance, personal motivation, and achievable goals matter most — and that anyone can learn to love resistance training (and understand that they need it). I’m here to share what I’ve learned, offering different approaches and tools to help you carve your own unique path to fitness.
